What are the charges for using MTF?

The charges associated with MTF are as follows:

• Interest: 0.049% per day (₹49 per lakh) on the funded amount. Interest is applied from T+1 day until the stocks are sold.
• Brokerage: ₹5 or 0.03%, whichever is lower. Statutory charges may apply.
• RMS square-off charges: Nil
• Pledge and unpledge charges: MTF stocks are automatically pledged when bought and unpledged when sold. ₹20 + GST per ISIN per pledge request. ₹20 + GST per ISIN per unpledge request. Charges apply once per ISIN per day.
• Invocation Charges: ₹20 + GST per ISIN. Applicable only if a margin shortfall forces liquidation.

Example scenario 

•  If you buy the same stock (e.g., ABC) using MTF multiple times on the same day, ₹20 + GST is charged only once. 
• If you buy ABC again on another day, ₹20 + GST will be charged again. 
• If you buy a different stock (e.g., XYZ) on the same day, ₹20 + GST will be charged separately. 
• When you sell the stocks, unpledge charges apply per ISIN per day of purchase.
