What will happen if any stock reaches its upper or lower limit?

If a stock hits its upper or lower limit, here is what happens:

1. If you have short sold the stock:
   • The stock will go into auction.
   • It will be settled by the exchange on T plus 2 days.
2. If you have a buy position:
   • The stock will be credited to your holdings.
