What is an AMO and when can we place it?

AMO stands for After Market Orders. You can place these orders beyond regular trading hours (9:15 AM–3:30 PM).
AMO timing:

• Equity: 4:00 PM – 8:59 AM (NSE/BSE)
• Currency: 5:00 PM – 8:59 AM
• F&O: 3:30 PM – 9:14 AM
• MCX (Mar–Nov): 11:30 PM – 8:59 AM
• MCX (Dec–Feb): 11:55 PM – 8:59 AM
  Note: No AMO orders allowed from 8:00 AM to 8:15 AM
