How do I open minor account and what are documents required?
Minor accounts are opened offline. To open a minor account, contact us through Live Chat, email us at invest@shoonya.com or call our Sales team at +91 82888-26999. Once we receive your request, we will email you the account opening form. After receiving the form, take a printout, fill it out, sign it, and send it along with the required documents to the address below:

Documents required to open a minor account:
- Birth certificate (Minor)
- PAN card (Minor)
- Address proof of the minor
- Bank proof (Minor): Cancelled cheque, passbook, or bank statement
- PAN card of guardian
- Address proof of guardian
One photo of the minor and guardian each
Note: You can only open the DEMAT account of the minor; buying and selling is not permitted. Only transfers are allowed.
