What are the documents accepted as income proof?
The following documents are accepted as valid income proof.
- Bank statement: Last 6 months statement with bank logo and seal, in the name of the account holder, showing an average balance above ₹10,000.
- Salary slip: Latest slip with gross monthly income above ₹15,000.
- ITR acknowledgement: Latest acknowledgement with gross annual income above ₹1,20,000.
- Form 16: Latest Form 16 with gross annual income above ₹1,20,000.
- Net worth certificate: If no other income proof is available, a CA-issued net worth certificate with a minimum net worth of ₹10,00,000 can be submitted.
- Demat holding statement: Latest statement with current holdings value above ₹10,000.
