What is the Franking process for POA?
Franking is the process of getting documents stamped. It involves marking the documents to indicate that the documents are legal and the stamp duty has been paid.
POA now – “DDPI” is a document that authorizes the stockbroker to debit shares from your Demat account whenever you sell your holdings. If your DDPI is linked to your account, you can sell your holdings without any prompt asking for transaction authorization.
DDPI charges are ₹100 (one-time).
