What will happen if I sell my stock holding before getting the bonus shares?
If you sell your stock before the record date, you won’t be eligible for bonus shares. However, if you sell after the record date, you will still receive the bonus shares. The record date is the cut-off date set by the company to determine which shareholders are eligible for the bonus shares.
