What will happen to trades and investments if PAN and Aadhaar are not linked?

If your PAN and Aadhaar are not linked, the following will happen:

1. You will not be able to buy or sell on stock exchanges.
2. Your Demat account with CDSL may be frozen.
3. You will not be able to trade or invest in any segment, including managing existing open positions or holdings.
4. These restrictions have been in place since July 10, 2023.

Important:
To avoid any trading and investment restrictions, link your PAN with your Aadhaar Card as soon as possible.
