What will happen if any stock reaches its upper or lower limit?
If a stock hits its upper or lower limit, here is what happens:
- If you have short sold the stock:
The stock will go into auction.
It will be settled by the exchange on T plus 2 days.
- If you have a buy position:
The stock will be credited to your holdings.
