What is disclose quantity? How it is beneficial for the client?

In normal orders, the full order quantity is disclosed to the market. But with a disclosed quantity order, only a part of the order is shown. The disclosed quantity should not be equal to or more than the total order and must be at least 10% of it.
Disclosed quantity orders are not allowed in futures and options.
Example: Mr. XYZ wants to buy 1,50,000 shares but discloses only 1,000. Once 1,000 are executed, the next batch goes to the market, and so on.
